  6. Its amazing that one side of the this caused death and destruction, while the other side was surfed by people in California. I wish those in Japan the best of luck.

  12. I can't imagine how much that grew when it became shallow near the coast.

  13. Really amazing how devastating those series of waves were. This boat just goes over it, but that same wave later uprooted buildings, had cars and trucks crashing into things like bumper boats, and then swept much of the wreckage and struggling survivors back out to sea as it receded. Crazy stuff.

  14. That's how a tsunami looks out at sea, just like a big ripple. It's only when it gets near the coast does it apex and get deadly.
